 On Tuesday, June 24, 2008. The Granby Police Department, in cooperation with the Granby SALT Council and the Granby Council on Aging, will hold our   Police/Senior Cookout at Dufresne Park. This annual event began 14 years ago to provide a way for our Senior Citizens to get to know the Town’s police officers.The officers and SALT Council Members cook and serve hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken and other cookout fare, In the past there has been crime prevention, safety, consumerprotection  and health infomration available All Granby Senior Citizens are invited to attend. Please contact the Council on Aging at 467-3239 to make a reservations. Transportation is available.  The cookout starts at 11 AM. The cookout is funded through donations and by a Grant from the Executive office of Public Safety. Any raffle prize donations would be gratefully appreciated!
