Juvenile Court Clerk Magistrate Kelli Ryan DiLisio

East Meadow School celebrated its 19th annual D.A.R.E. Graduation on Friday May 9th at 1:15pm.  The 92 “graduates” listened to remarks by guest speaker Attorney Kelli Ryan DiLisio, the Assistant Clerk Magistrate of the Franklin/Hampshire County Juvenile Court. Attorney Dilisio related experiences she has had dealing with  substance abusers through her role as Assistant Clerk Magistrate, and in her former occupation, Assistant District Attorney. Associate Superintendent of Schools John Robert, Chief of Police Louis M. Barry, and  East Meadow School Principal Jim Pietras also spoke.  Essay presentations were made by students Chase Forbush,  Alexis Ouellette,  Natalie Richards, and Timothy BaiRossi. The students were congratulated by D.A.R.E. Officer Kurt Carpenter, who also reminded students that he would be available to them next year when they move to the Jr/Sr High School, in his role as School Resource Officer.
