The Department has recently received reports of damage at the Town Landfill from recreational vehicles. Although it may appear as if there is nothing under the surface, the Landfill is lined by a very expensive liner, which is then covered with material. Operation of a recreational mvehicle on this area can cause VERY EXPENSIVE damage to the liner.

Recreational Vehicle operators are reminded that WRITTEN PERMISSION must be obtained prior to operting on Land owned by another ( see 323  CMR 3) and MGL Ch 90 B S 26.

In addtion, recreational vehicles are not to be operated within 150 of an occupied residence. without permission of the owner- even if on your OWN property, except when leaving or returning.
