Two accidents mar Memorial Day

Two serious accidents marred the Memorial Day Holiday. At 6:07 PM a vehicle travelling south on Pleasant Street, operated by Brandon Guyott of 1409 Pleasant Street crossed the center line , left the roadway, struck a utility pole and rolled over.Guyott was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The car, pictured above, was severely damaged.
The second accident occurred at 7:38 PM at the intersection of Amherst and West Streets. A vehicle operated by Norm Bergeron turned left on West Street. A motorcycle travelling South on Amherst Street struck the van. The operator of the M/C, Kevin Haczynski was taken to the hospital with leg injuries. The M/C (pictured above) was extensively damaged. The accident is still under investigation.
