On Tuesday June 22, 2011, Officer Stephen Marion was dispatched to the Granby Landfill to take a theft report of tools that were taken from the scale house on June 21, 2011. When Officer Marion arrived he was given a copy of the surveillance video from the day in question. On Tuesday June 28, 2011, officers of the Granby Police Department executed an arrest warrant for Mr. Stephen Charpentier, age 41, of 12 Crosby St. Chicopee, Ma. At that residence, Mr. Charpentier attempted to hide from the officers on scene but was located in the residence by Granby Police K-9, Ralph. Mr. Charpentier was arrested and booked on charges of breaking and entering daytime to commit a felony and larceny over $250.00.
