The Granby Police Department is Seeking the Public’s Help in Identifying a Possible Theft Suspect

The Granby Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the party in the pictures below. The party was at the Soft Touch Auto Wash, located at 62 West State St. Granby, Ma, on Friday, March 18th at approximately 04:40 in the morning and Tuesday, March 22nd, at approximately 04:30 in the morning.  The time stamps in the photos are incorrect because the surveillance system was never updated for Daylight Savings Time. The suspect is wanted for questioning for a recent vandalism and theft from the Car Wash. Anyone with information regarding this person or vehicle is asked to call the Granby Police Department at 413-467-9222.


Parking Ban in Effect Beginning at 6 PM

The Town of Granby would like to announce that a Parking Ban will be in effect from 6 pm today, March 20th, until tomorrow, March 21st at 4 pm. This means that there is no on-street parking allowed.

Police Department Announces D.A.R.E. Camp Dates

The Granby Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2016 DARE Basketball and Soccer Camps. The 2016 DARE Basketball Camp will run Monday July 11th - Friday July 15th (for grades 6-10) and Monday July 18th - Friday July 22th (Grades 3-6) Camp sessions run 9 am to 3 pm for session 1. NOTE:  Session 2 camp hours have been reduced, Session 2 will now run from 830 am to 1230 pm daily. 6th Graders may attend either session. Those 6th grade players who attend Session 1 can also attend Session 2 on a space available basis.

The 2016 DARE Soccer Camp will be held July 25th - July 29th and is available to student’s grades 3 -8 (grades as of 9/16). The camp will run from 8:30 to 12:30 daily and is available to all area youth.

Applications for the camp are available at the police station, or at the police department’s website , under downloads, on the homepage of the website. Grades are as of September 2016. Camp fee is $50 (Discounts for multiple family members.) No child will be denied enrollment due to financial hardship.
