Sergeant Gary Poehler and Officer Sean Gallagher volunteered their time and brought the birthday cards and gifts, which were gathered by Granby Police and Fire Personnel, to the surprise birthday party in Burrillville, Rhode Island. Tyler Seddon of Burrillville, R.I. was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2010, when he was three years old. Following numerous chemotherapy treatments, Tyler was deemed cancer-free in August 2012.However, in November 2013, news came that Tyler had relapsed. The young boy is a big fan of anything to do with police officers, firefighters, race cars, and motorcycles, and for his 7th birthday – which is today – he wished to receive cards from some of his heroes – the first responders.  Below are links to some of the local media coverage.
